Perhaps the greatest attraction Kev has on hire at Glenelg are the Quadricycles. Also known as the green family bike or novelty bike.

I have two different sizes. 

• The smaller quadricycle can hold up to 3 adults and 2 kids with up to 2 pedallers.

• The larger quadricycle can hold up to 6 adults and 2 kids with up to 4 pedallers. Depends also how big the hips are ;)

• The quadricycles have a child seat with a double seatbelt for their safety. A child harness is recommended if your child tends to wriggle and get out of restraints.

• Recommended for people from 1 yrs old to 99 yrs old.

• Most people hire them out for 30 minutes.

• There is approximately 1 hour of bicycle track that follows the Glenelg beach coast that they are allowed to travel on.

• Pedals are independent of each other so will work if only one is pedalling but much easier when all pedals are being used.

• Using the Quadricycles- There is enough bike track for up to 1hr of pedalling up and down the glenelg esplanade following the coast. The track goes as far as Somerton surf club(to the south) and Sammys on the marina (to the north).Unfortunately they cannot travel on roads, the jetty or the beach.
